Why do some teachers get jobs teaching kids, when they abuse their power and have sex with a student?

There are many teachers out there who go to jail for statutory rape with students. If you’re going to be a teacher you’re supposed to take care of your students and teach them to your best ability. What is wrong with you if you choose that job and end up f*cking a 14 year old? Thoughts?
