What to do with the stuff I am not bringing to college?

Going to college. No way I can take everything. My parents wont let me store stuff I'm not taking at their house. College means i cant afford a storage unit. Theres stuff I want to keep, but any store or take with me like nerf guns and small trinkets. What does one do?
