What could be happening if someone talks to you make very strong eye contact but never displays any facial expressions?

They are always without fail nice but he shows no expressions at all and he stares into my eyes too hard and it appears unnatural. This person is so friendly and relaxed with everyone else. Are they upset or offended by me? I don't typically have issues or drama with others at all so what is going on?
