Can you just ask for a copy of your prescription (is that what it's called?) at your own optometrists and just take it to any other glasses store so they can also get the right lenses for the frames you choose?

Im getting my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow morning. And I wanna know how it’ll go. I’m kinds nervous. I’ve heard that it’s not that bad, or that it’s bad. I just want it to go smoothly.
