Nuking the poles of Mars will do nothing towards terraforming the planet; you'd only be adding nuclear radiation to the long list of other intractable dangers to life on Mars.

given the size nothing will be quick unless we figure out ways to handle & move ginormous amounts of earth elements to make it livable

Direct a few dozen comets into it. Then wait a few decades. Then do it again. And only live in the lowlands. Wash rinse and repeat. Mars simply doesn't have the gravity to retain an Earth like environment for very long.

It can’t be terraformed due to, not just radiation bombardment, but its erratic electric storms that will degrade chromosomes .The planet would have a magnetosphere but for where it sits in the sun’s kingdom.

Collect ice chunks from the rings of Saturn and smash them into the planet. The problem is NOT terraforming Mars, it is KEEPING it terraformed. WIthout a strong magnetic field, the solar winds will trip away any atmosphere you put on the Red Planet.

Push all the asteroids into it so it will have enough gravity to hold an atmosphere.
