    If I were piloting the LEXX, they would all blow up without any issue whatsoever.

    Jupiter. It is huge and is 2.5 times more massive than all other planets combined. It is a gas giant. You'd need a supernova to destroy Jupiter, and the Sun will never be a supernova- it is too small.
