In Utah a pound of aluminum cans equals about 53 cents. How many cans would it take to make over 100 dollars?

I just weighed some ordinary empty soda cans (which contained 12 fl. oz. of liquid). The average weight of one can was 13.8 grams. ($100) / ($0.53/lb) x (453.592 g/lb) / (13.8 g/can) = 6200 cans

100 divided by 53 = 188.679
