(x+3)^(2/3) = 25 x + 3 = 25^(3/2) x + 3 = ±5^(3) x + 3 = ±125 for +125 x + 3 = 125 x = 122 for –125 x = – 128

(x + 3)^(2/3) = 25 Ln[(x + 3)^(2/3)] = Ln(25) Ln[(x + 3)^(2/3)] = Ln(5²) → you know that: Ln(x^a) = a.Ln(x) (2/3).Ln(x + 3) = 2.Ln(5) (1/3).Ln(x + 3) = Ln(5) Ln(x + 3) = 3.Ln(5) → recall: a.Ln(x) = Ln(x^a) Ln(x + 3) = Ln(125) x + 3 = 125 → x = 122

[(x+3)^(2/3)]^3=25^3 Then you have to expand it to get: x^2+6x+9=15625 Then apply the quadratic equation, and you will get 2 answers. x=122,\:x=-128 I got the same answer as yours. So your answer is correct.
