Seems like a strange curse. I would have come up with like.... lycanthropy or vampirism or something. Maybe the curse from Stephen King's Thinner.

I'm very proud of mine. She is a lovely person, as well as a highly capable specialist trauma nurse whose day's work includes saving stabbing victims and people smashed up in road collisions. If you ever need her services you won't be cursing her.

unless you hate kids, females, humans than i would assume the answer would be no. You should be able to find a way to be a good parent to them if you care about them, that will disspell anny doubts you have about it being curse.
