No. They are caused by the guilt and shame put on them from parents and/or society in childhood. These "visions" now manifest in these adults esp when the person has low self esteem, depression......

Yes abd No. Both God and Demon can show visions. That makes vision unreliable. You can to investigate . The best way is to keep your doubts but try to eliminate the untrue during the investigation processes.

They're more likely caused by someone's overactive imagination and extenuated fears.
