I have never had my wisdom teeth taken out, I'm 27, because my Orthodontist said I "didn't have too" when I was 11. Should I take them out?

I have never had my wisdom teeth taken out, I'm 27, because my Orthodontist said I "didn't have too" when I was 11. Should I take them out?

Since everyone else has theirs taken out should I? Or should I listen to the guy who did my braces?

    Do what ortho says, I am 61 and still have 3 of my wisdom teeth

    I'm 35 and still have mine. My dentist isn't concerned but told me to let them know if they start causing issues or if I start getting infections. I may be a case where they never have to come out. Not everyone needs them removed.
