I had to dissect a frog in 7th grade, then we dissected a pig in 9th grade. I didn't learn anything from those experiences that I didn't learn from reading the entire text book.

For me it was 12th grade. AP Biology class, and Physiology.

Where I went to school, none. We did dissect a frog in the 7th grade though. I don't remember much about the process since that was almost a decade ago for me, but it was pretty interesting....

They don't do that any more..not in the UK anyhow. After mad cow disease, even disecting eyes is taboo. Rats are still disected at A level (years 12 and 13)

Glad we never had to do that. It would have made me so hungry for a pork chop I would not have been able to do my work.
