Would a telescope the size of a solar system be big enough to see everything in the universe?

Say we had the resources to build a telescope that encompassed our solar system. Would that be large enough to see to the edge of the universe; if it even has an edge?

ignoring the semantics of the scientific problems with a giant telescope...if we had a super powerful telescope we could see back in time..even on earth
