No, the spider won't kill you, it won't even bite unless you go messing with it. Bands or stripes on the legs it will be a harmless spider.

As long as you lock away all the sharp knives so it cannot access them you should be safe.

Sounds deadly. Probably one of the worst and evil spiders in the world. I would cover your house in butter and rapeseed oil. They are not a fan of these two things.
