Why do silly Feminists believe that there is a patriarchy in the West?

Women can vote and run for any government position (Just look at Hillary). There is not a single law that favors men over women. Now, given that, why do most Modern Feminists think that a patriarchy still exists in the West?

Maybe the fact that it took 20 years for Harvey Weinstein to be taken down and the reality that the US is still the only developed nation without mandated maternity leave.

They want power. Not equality, it's obvious because they have equality in the west. And balk when men try to get fairer parental rights. Like when it comes to pregancy and abortion. Men have zero rights.

It gives them something less destructive than the #metoo witch hunt, to be involved in. Mostly, they just like the sound of their own shrill voices.
