I got my wisdom teeth pulled a week ago is it safe to smoke now without getting a dry socket?

It's ok to smoke after a week. I would hesitate to say safe as smoking isn't exactly safe, but the risk of dry socket is over at this point. If you haven't smoked in a week though, could be a perfect time to quit if you wished to take the opportunity.

I smoked when I came out of the dentist with no problem but if you have managed to not smoke for a week then why smoke again?
