Do you know anyone who has or had dementia that wasn't preceded by a stroke?

No, not all dementia is preceded by a stoke and many strokes do not result in dementa. Most people with dementia have not had strokes. They are two different things going on.

Not everyone with dementia has had a stroke. My mom and her aunt for example. But her mom had a stroke that resulted in dementia.
