Why does it often take women longer to get financially established and get a good job compared to men?

I often see women in their 30s and 40s in entry to mid level career positions, whereas you see men in their mid 20s in the same positions. The women are often older than the men who work similar roles/experience levels at companies.

    Not exactly. Men take longer to get going in life, but once they do they will on average reach higher levels.

    it doesn't. Women come out of school make 120% more than men... because of their gender.
