If you witnessed a man commit a violent crime, and he left the only evidence in your possession, and you didn’t report it, are you complicit?

I would say yes. Unless you feel like your life or safety would be in danger if you did report it.

Yes you can be charged with obstruction of justice, if you played any part in helping to help the criminal you could be charged with the crime itself.
