My tampon broke in half?

i guess i wasnt bleeding that much and was dry when my tampon was in but when i tried to take it out it broke in half! I got the other half out but im still scared that theres still some cotton left in me. Should i be worrying?

Which way did it break - horizontally or vertically?

Are you worried about TSS? You'll be fine. TSS is extremely rare.
