my eye is swollen shut the top eye lid is very swollen and I've got pus coming out my top eyelid should I go to hospital for some IV antibiotics

Hospital? No. There are people dying, make an appointment with your doctor and get some cream. Sounds like conjunctivitis. Definitely not hospital worthy.

Go to a family physician or urgent care clinic. That's not a life-threatening emergency and you'll only be wasting time & resources going to a hospital ER.
