Why are vaccinations a thing?

I got two vaccinations today, the meningitis and diptheria thing, and had a blood test too. Needles should just be banned. Anything involving needles is evil. Like they bloody hurt, vaccinations should have never been a thing.

If you think a couple needles hurt, how do you think having your brain swell until it is crushed by your skull feels? Although your brain is probably small enough you needn't worry.

Vaccinations are a "thing" because they prevent illness. Believe me, death by diphtheria (note spelling) or meningitis is no fun at all -- and FAR worse than a vaccination. I've never found blood tests to be especially painful.

Needles hurt so much, waaaah! Wait until you catch meningitis, then cry about a sting in your arm.

tell that to all type 1 Diabetics and some type 2 Diabetics among other illnesses. Though many would just rather being dead, those needles save a whole lot of lives, ya dingus.

Needles suck but are a necessary evil, they are the easiest way to go about vaccinating a large population. They do have other ways for some, not as effective and they tend to be more expensive.
