How do you know what the products are in an incomplete combustion reaction? I know it's either CO2, H2O, C, or CO, but I don't know which?

    an incomplete combustion occurs when there is a poorer supply of oxygen. The products of an incomplete combustion reaction are: CO + H2O + C (the carbon is released as soot). In a complete combustion reaction, however, the products are: CO2 + H2O
