No one is being tricked in either situation. People need to take personal responsibility for their actions and to protect themselves from things they do not want to happen and never trust anyone with their lives. If you have unprotected sex you are taking a risk, never assume anyone is disease free, or on a pill regardless of what they tell you.

You know that the male birth control pill will work by lowering testosterone levels, right? It has also been shown to cause effects associated with low T in testing like weight gain, loss of muscle mass, mood changes, and even ED. The scientists working on it say these effects are minimal, but the fact of the matter is they are there. Only an idiot would lower their T levels on purpose. One to think about when you're promoting this pill is to ponder what the effects will be on men still going through puberty. Medical science already tells us that you can stunt a man's growth and puberty by messing with his T levels. I would advise against promoting this pill. Anyway, I imagine it won't take long to apply even more responsibly on men in order to protect women, so yeah, it will probably be considered rape.

No, she will still be responsible for her own protection against pregnancy and/or STIs.
