Too much at once causes issues, perhaps death.

Sometimes people take too much. Sometimes the drug is poor quality and or cut with poisons. Sometimes people fûck with your head when high, which isn't technically an overdose but might feel like one. The rest is regular drug use.

well...first ask yourself how does the drug get you high...if the answer is throwing enough chemicals together and hope for the best...its a good chance its very bad
