Will ASVAB for dummies work to improve score, I got a 23 on my ASVAB & I need a better score. I didn’t learn nothing in school I’m ignorant?

No, it isn't going to help. If you didn't pay attention in 10th grade, then you need to go back to school. That will bring your score up. Scoring a 23 means that nearly 80% of people with a 10th grade education can do better than you. -Daniel

You DID NOT score 23 on the ASVAB. If you didn't show you could score DOUBLE that when the recruiter gave you a preliminary test in the office, the recruiter wouldn't have scheduled you for the actual ASVAB.

A score that low indicate poor reading comprehension. In other words, you could not get the right answers because you did not understand the questions. With reading comprehension that low, a book that you need to read is not going to help you. The best thing would be to take the English and math placement tests at your nearby Community College then take the remedial classes in English and Math. After a semester in those classes, try the ASVAB again. Unfortunately, there is not a quicker way.
