Standing up for your beliefs is one thing, destruction of property is another.

It can never be in any way, because morality always dictates those who command it. And civil dislikes are usually against those who command, right?

But civil disobedience can assume many different guises. However, it is morally correct to challenge the Established Religion who are the Pharisees. Jesus' example has demonstrated that there is more good than harm in challenging those who purport to obey God, but in actual fact they are nothing but lying evil bastards.
