They can be very deadly, but not when you're singing to them. They like it. https://youtu.be/Radrh60tAUk

silly question of the day. A flying shark is vulnerable to a bullet.

A shark left out of the water for 8 minutes under even the best of circumstances would suffer some sort of respiratory damage and eventually die. So it's not like they would be flying into the mainland USA and attacking livestock. But it would give them an advantage hunting some aquatic animals.

Sharks are too heavy to fly. They do not have the metabolism for flight. This is all linked to being ectotherms. Do you propose they become completely terrestrial because if their fins developed into wings they would not be good for propulsion under water. You cannot make only one change to an animal. Giving a shark wings would not alone enable it to fly. Other anatomical changes would be necessary as well as a lot of physiological ones. It would also need to become terrestrial. It cannot remain well adapted for swimming and for flight.

a shark that can fly would not be much different than an eagle. It would not be very big since flying objects need to be light weight to stay in the air. It may even be toothless, just like birds. A toothless shark would not be very scary.
