prices also reflect cost of doing business. Franchise fees, rent, cost of product, wages, benefits,utilities etc. What is bothering to me is that CEO'S on average make $6800 an HOUR and no on questions that. But bring up $15 an hour for McDonald's employees and people have heartattacks. Why is that?

McDonald's sell more than burgers.

um maybe cause they dont just sell 1 burger and go home, clerks sell like maybe 50 or more in a day probably hundreds

I don't really care whether "McDonald's" sells a burger, BUT if they hire a human being to sell it, then I think that human being should be able to afford to eat, live indoors and wear clothes. And have health care. Guess I'm just a radical. Let's talk about whether the corporate CEO's do a thousand times more work than the hamburger seller. I'm gonna say that would not actually be possible.

A couple of years ago,Purdue University, the other NRA and McDonald's did a study that showed how higher wages increased profits without commensurately increasing the cost of the product. In the fast food industry higher wages increase profits by: *Reducing shrink *Reducing employee turnover *Reducing employee lateness and absenteeism *Reducing employee mistakes *Increasing individual employee and crew efficiency which *Increased the SPMH which *Increased profits

Because McDonald's can afford it. The clerk gets $15 an hour and McDonald's makes far more than that in an hour.

If the clerk would only sell ONE Burger in a day. That would be a very good questions. But have you been to a McDonalds lately if not park your car and count how many people go in just 1hr and that should answer your question

Because one clerk can sell more than 50 burgers per day so they want to attract clerk by providing better salary...so they get more profit..
