    You have given us OPTIONS to pick from? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA for what??? Please tell me you know what 20 times 100 is. Here's how you do it "using rules for multiplication by powers of 10" 1 with 1 zero × 2 with 2 zeroes = 2 with 3 zeroes. Or 2×10^1 * 1×10^2 = 2×1 × 10^1×10^2 = 2 × 10^(1+2) = 2×10^3 = 2×thousand = 2000 Which is basically what you do in your head when you multiply it... think about the steps you go through when doing a mental calculation.

    Okay, so there are stupid questions.

    100 = 10², so 20×100 means 20 with 2 zeros added to the right: 2000

    20 * 100 = 2000

    It is C because 20 times 100 = 2,000

    C) 2000. Just add two zeroes to 20.

    20 x 100 = 2,000 2 x 1 is 2 append 1+2 = 3 zeros on the right 2,000 Or 100 = 10^2. Append two zeros on the right. 2000

    100 is 10² so multiplying by 100 shifts the decimal place 2 places to the right. 20 is equivalent to 20.00, so multiplying by 100 shifts the decimal place in 20.00 to the right two places to yield 2000. Ans: C. 2,000
