No. Multiply the radicands. √(x+2)√(x-1) = √((x+2)(x-1))

No, the terms under the square root sign can only be multiplied.Hence [√(x+2) ] [√(x-1)]=√{(x+2) (x-1)} =√{x²+x-2}
