I did something stupid?

I ate 3 pieces of twix bar candy then without realizing It, i did a strenuous workout 15 minutes after eating it but caught myself after 2 minutes of doing so, am I going to get sick? It been 3 hours now but I'm not feeling sick, am I okay now?
