What does it mean when a NEOCP Object is marked as "Unconfirmed"?

No response

I found the website Birtwhistle's 2015 list of NEOCP Objects, and on that page I saw a few entries listed as "Unconfirmed". What does this mean? Does it have the same meaning as "(Object) Does not exist" (inconclusive evidence?)
