i was a kid when he died. i know it was by stingray but I've seen photos of people in the ocean with stingrays and they were perfectly fine.

A stingray stung him in the heart.

By doing what he loves best and getting whip lashed by a stingray to the heart.

Scary to think. He handled snakes, he handled crocs. In water everything seems slow-motion, but sea creatures can obviously strike very fast, deadly hits. Scary stuff.

I don't think he was taunting it. He just got a little too close and the animal felt threatened and it unfortunately struck his heart and it was a fatal wound.
