Sometimes, dying is "peaceful" and "painless" like if you die in your sleep. Other times, no, it's not and can be really painful/horrific. It depends on how/why you die.

It depends how you die. I'd rather die in my sleep like my uncle, not screaming in terror like his passengers.

It can, but not if you do it right. What is the worst is if you come back at all. You will NOT like the tubes all up your nose into your belly and all. And that is like 3 days hard pain from it, and I died from high blood sugar.
