Why is dividing by 0 such a complicated concept?

If something is divided by 0, it means it's being divided by nothing.. it means it's not being divided! How is this so complicated to comprehend?? Likewise, when something is multiplied by 0, the answer is 0 because it's that number... 0 times!! What mystery am I the one not getting??
