I asked a question a few days ok on what to set a meter on to check my washing machine pump. I received the following answer?

"Set the meter to ohms at the 2k setting and read the resistance of the motor. If the resistance reads 0 (no resistance), OL (out of limits) or the resistance is very high (over 1k), the motor is bad." I did so and the reading I got was .0005 what does that mean? Thank you
