Medicine taken for fecal impaction?

When I was really young I was in the hospital for fecal impaction and I had to drink this white, awful tasting liquid but I don't remember what it was called. I know people drink magnesium citrate but idk if this was it I think it was something else but I could be wrong, anyone know?
