Manufacturers will encapsulate anything. They can't make false claims, and there's no verifiable proof of efficacy of these. Plus, organic coconut oil is readily available in jars and is food grade. Use that in cooking if desired.

I used to, they helped a little with some dry skin I had but not much else.
