I got suspended for defending myself from a bully twice my size (I was small in middle school) and could ve sent me to the hospital.

It might because if you got suspended, you may be in this behavior again which would cause you trouble in the future too.

I hate schools that suspend everyone involved in a fight rather than just punishing the bullies. You and your parents can try speaking with the school superintendent and see if your record can be cleared up.

Lots of people get suspended for worse and for whatever unfortunate reason they still end up okay
