(f o g)(x) = 1/(x - 3) The domain is all real numbers except x = 3.

f(g(x)) = 1/(x - 3) Domain is all numbers except '(+)3'

f(x) = 1/x → domain: IR - { 0 } g(x) = x - 3 → domain: IR fog(x) = f[g(x)] fog(x) = 1/x → and you substitute x by g(x) fog(x) = 1/(x - 3) → domain: IR - { 3 }

(fog)(x) = 1/(x-3) Domain x ≠ 3

f(g(x)) = 1 / ( x - 3 ) , all x ╪ 3
