I currently live in Virginia but want to move to another state. If I moved to Alabama and attended a community college would I have to pay out of state tuition if I haven't lived there a year?

What part of "out of state" is confusing you?????

Yes, you would have to pay out-of-state tuition if you moved to a state for the sole purpose of attending college.
