LOL. What are you talking about? I've taken free tests here in California as well as paid ones. The most recent paid test I took was the CompTIA A+ test. It was a series of 2 tests that each cost around $105 with student discounts.

A written exam for what? We don't know if you're trying to get a driver's licence or qualify as a lawyer.
