There are construction workers in my backyard, removing a tree that was struck by lightning yesterday. I was thinking that they could hear me talking to myself in my room, that they were insulting me.

That's not normal, you should seek help

You can't lose your mind as the hair is attached to it. "EEK, EEK. Hairy spider!" Someone is bound to say that so it will be seen by somebody.
