d = Vo*t+a/2*t^2 = 0+1*20^2 = 400.0 m (Vo = 0 since it starts from rest)

s = ut + 0.5at² s = 0 + 0.5 * 2 * (20)² s = 1 * (400) s = 400 m.

I would use the following equation to determine the distance the car moved. d = vi * t + ½ * a * t^2, vi = 0 m/s d = ½ * 2 * 20^2 = 400 meters

S = at^2/2 S = 2 x 400/2 S = 400 metres.

s=ut+½at² s=(0*20)+½(2*20²) s=400 m
