Why do starfish/brittle stars right themselves after being turned over?

I understand how they do it, but why do they like to right themselves.

Their mouths are on the bottom of their body. Starfish/ brittle stars constantly eat so if they stayed on their backs the would strave.

They're bottom feeders. If they did not right themselves they'd starve to death.
