It shouldn't get that far for many women or men. Prison is a last resort penalty for non-payment of child support. Forcing payment by garnishing wages would suffice in most cases.

Any number of women. The laws which are in place apply to everyone. I worked for attorneys and i know two women whose drivers licenses were revoked for non-payment and both eventually had to serve jail time.
