Since it is an equation, you can multiply both sides by 5. 3×5 = 1×5 The value of 1×5 depends on how you define multiplication in a universe where 3=1.

Oh, if 15 = 15 x 1, well that's actually 15 x 3 =45. There are many possibilities. Depends on how you perceive the problem. By the way, is this really the first time you used yahoo answers? Just asking.

Pope is right, more explanation is needed, but perhaps you want a ratio. 3/1 = 15/x x = 5

I never understand where these questions are coming from. If 3 can equal 1, then 15 can equal whatever you wish it to be.
