woke up at 6:55 feeling awful, threw up. 7:35 came around and I started feeling awful again, threw up even more. It’s 7:45 and it’s starting to come back... Food poisoning? Stomach bug?

It could be either one. But, no matter which it is, it'll run its course in about 48 hours.

A stomach bug and food poisoning are essentially the same: caused by a virus a bacteria or a toxin. Most last 1-3 days. If you get a fever, pain, blood anywhere or dehydrated for example, you need to be seen.
