Is it possible to get a cold two weeks after recovering from strep throat?

Absolutely. Fighting one virus/bacteria hits your immune system pretty hard. That's why people with immunodeficiencies can die from a common cold. One thing leads to another, but it sounds like you'll be alright.

Yes. They are two different infections, and one doesn’t make you immune to the other. If anything, you may be a bit more susceptible to other infections when you are already ill.

Yes it is. They are two different infections. Strep throat is usually bacterial and a cold is viral. Also when you were fighting the strep throat, your immune system is compromised which made you prone to picking up more infections.
